Today I had the opportunity to shoot four promotional spots for the new Fear the Walking Dead series. A co-partnership between AMC, T-mobile, and Shazaam, the creative called for a day in the life behind the scenes look at a walker ala Hollywood.
To create this high gloss look, I coupled my Amira with the Arri-Zeiss Ultra Primes and set out to create a saturated palette which made use of color contrast to make our walker pop.
Misdirection is central to the editorial approach in the spots so we attempted to create a look that ran counter to your stereotypical zombie lighting.
These national spots will run during the premiere and finale of the series on AMC.
